New 'ever changing' menu coming soon!!!
At the Old Black Horse, we've always tried to bring you classic pub food, such as your scampi, burgers and your pies, alongside homemade dishes that you just don't really find anywhere else. Nothing too fancy, just interesting, wholesome and delicious homemade meals. We want our food to fill your bellies and ignite your taste buds, not just look pretty on Instagram but leave you wanting more. Recently, as well as the options on our menu that only change twice a year, we've also had 'monthly specials.' These specials have proved popular. So popular in fact that we're pleased to announce we're expanding them!!! Our 'NEW MENU' launches this week. The main menu will contain all of the classic dishes, the dishes you've come to expect from a pub, and a sprinkling of those slightly different dishes that the Old Black Horse is famous for. This menu will not change until Spring / Summer. However, alongside this menu, will be a 'MONTHLY SPECIALS' menu, which contains no fewer than 6 delicious dishes that you won't find at many other places locally. This specials menu will change every single month! So you'll get a month to try them all, then next month, a whole new selection of dishes will be launched.

Sunday Carvery
Our Sunday carvery is back onto winter timings, with 4 x 90 minute sittings available to book, and carvery being available until 5pm. Sitting times are 12:00, 1:30, 3:00 and 4:30pm. During the winter we strongly advise booking, as we often get booked up. Bookings can be made as late as one minute before the sitting time, if there's space. Availability is reported live, so it's always worth checking online and booking before making the trip. We've taken the decision to continue staying open for main menu food after carvery has finished at 5pm on Sundays, as a trial. So until further noticed, you can enjoy an evening meal until 8pm on a Sunday, even after carvery has finished.

Festive Menu
Get in the Christmas spirit, enjoy a delicious meal from our Festive menu. Available all day and evening every Friday and Saturday in December until Christmas Eve.
On Friday 11th December and Friday 18th December, you will also be able to enjoy live acoustic music, for no additional charge, making these nights perfect for your company, group or family celebrations. Bookings and pre orders are REQUIRED for parties of more than 8 people. However, bookings are also strongly advised for ALL parties during December.
